How would you shoot them. I shoot BIF in AV Al-servo spot-partial at f/5.6 on my( adjusting for 1/1000 sec for jumping out of the water) 300mm f/4L IS, I have a 70-200 f/4L IS I will be using too if I am close enough. They come out of the water with 3/4 of their bodies sometimes, that's what the 1/1000 sec is for. Any suggestions for a better way to shoot them? Thanks...Rich
They say we must stay 300ft away, but they come closer sometimes. I have the 300mm for far and the 70-200mm for closer. This is with my 50D so I get a 1.6x crop. I have a 5D, the crop and 6fps gets more shots and the resolution and DPP will make it pretty good I think. I am carrying my 5D as a backup and Landscape/surise/sunset camera....My photo backpack weighs 17lbs.....
