Just got notification from State Farm that my "personal articles policy", which covers all my camera gear and laptops, is not going to be renewed this year. Nothing I did, apparently, they're canceling all property insurance policies in Florida.
A while back I saw an offer from a company affiliated with the photo.net site, but now I'm unable to find the info again. Anyone have a link, or better yet, any personal experience with this company? Thanks in advance.
I'm shopping for insurance now for my gear as well, after experiencing a stomach-dropping moment of panic a couple of weekends ago when a truck crunched something behind me that WASN'T, as it turns out, the gear bag I'd left near the curb while I was shooting a clown in a 4th of July parade.
Did you wind up buying a policy from/through Photo.net?
