Hi TWok
I bought the 18mm months ago. The focus ring is very vauge with movement. When I look through the back of the lens I can see clouding or haze. I can see it on a lot of my shots. I must send it away to see if it an be fixed. Is the chap Zuiko.com ? the best place.
Hopefully the lens can be serviced and made good. Its a shame as I enjoy using it.

John Hermanson at www.zuiko.com is indeed the best place for OM work. But in UK I would suggest a call to Luton Cameras, which is where Olympus UK have been sending all their OM for several years, as best I know.

This lens kicks so much ass. I was shooting foliage landscapes today (NH White Mountains), and just putting it on the camera, looking through it, you can tell it's something special. I think mine will live with the 49-72 on it from now on, it's handy to protect it and since I have been using it with filters lately, saves a step or two. THe bummer is now it needs a different case as it won't fit in the original one with the 49-72 mounted.
Kyle, as good as the 21/3.5 is (and it IS good) the 18 is better, you won't miss the 21. Get an oly 24/2.8 to fill the gap maybe.
