The native is 5.3 but LR will pop them open to 10.3 automatically though it is an interpolation. But it does this very well and Nikon did it good on the D1x.
The glass I have are a Tokina 165, Tokina 100mm f2.8 macro, Nikon 17-35, 28/70, 70/200, 85 f1.4, Voigtlander 58 SLII and the D1x likes them all.
Forget jpg and just shoot raw.
I was going to ask about lightroom, since it is based on ACR....
when you say that it is an interpolation, is this any different than what Nikon software would do?
LR2 has the same ACR engine as Photoshop so the results are the same. I currently use LR2 and CS3 but all the prelim work is in LR. No, It does the same thing as NX2.
