p.1 #1 · D300 Err, but still shoots? | |
Hey all,
So I've been using my D300 for professional, daily use for probably around one year now, and it started to act up last night between two shoots. The camera displays the "Err" message after I snap off the first frame, but then it allows me to continue to shoot single frames after that, so far to no limit or with any visible detriment, the camera was workable through the second shoot, but only because I was using strobes for the event and shooting single frames anyway.
The Err message is persistent between shutter releases, but it does release every time I push but doesn't fire continuous, AF works fine, but I can only change exposure settings if I turn the camera off and on, or use the DOF button and that clears the error message. I've tried resetting with the green dots, changing memory cards, changing batteries, different lenses, with and without the MB-D10, with different battery packs in the grip, etc. No luck.
Any ideas? I'll send it into Nikon first chance I get otherwise, but if I can hold on to the camera that would obviously be ideal.
Thanks in advance
-Will
