p.1 #1 · NX2 Updates Won't Download

I've been having trouble downloading updates to NX2 from Nikon's web site. The downloads just hang and don't downlaod at all. I've tried emptying the browser cache and I've tried several computers from my location. I'm using comcast as my ISP. Do the downloads work for anyone else? TIA.

I'm a bit behind in my updates. I'm still running 2.0.0. I need the 2.1.0 update:

If you are running on a mac you need to control click on the link and choose download the linked file...

Thanks. I'm using a PC with IE7. Also tried Firefox. I'm trying to save the files vs running them. The download status dialog box pops up but the download doesn't start.

Try right click and save target as. I'm not as good at PC files but that might work...

Thanks. That is exactly what I've been doing. I'm not asking for assistance on how to download - I know how to do that. I'm asking the question to see if the files download for other people. If they do, then the problem is on my end. If they don't then the problem is with Nikon's site.

Never had an update hang on me yet. I'm on Qwest DSL. I have a Vista Home Premium Sony Vaio laptop.

Patrick I had a right game with them, they would start off fine, then slow to a crawl with download times of hours being stated.

Then I struck lucky and got one to download in a few minutes.

This was the same for NX2, Transfer and View NX. I imagine the problem at Nikons end.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I finally did hit it right for the first update and got it downloaded an hour ago. Once it started, it finished quickly. I still can't get the second update to start downloading. I guess it's hit or miss.

I'd say I have problems with downloads from Nikon at least 25% of the time in the last few years.
