(Inspired by T-bone's entry today)
Tim had a whole lot more snow at his home in Spokane than I did at my apartment in Oregon's Willamette Valley. But we had more than usual. A whole lot more.
These three shots were taken in the middle of it all, as I stood just outside my front door. In the second shot (on the right), that's my little '08 Scion xB, looking more like a cube than usual. The third shot is a neighbor girl.
Taken with my new point and shoot Canon. Egad, PP from digital cameras is a tad easier than from scanned slides.
The snow stayed on the ground for about two weeks. It is now long gone.
The problem in our Willamette Valley is that it seldom gets really cold and stays that way. So we get wonderful things like snow melting and re-freezing as ice. And rain that freezes on contact with roads- our infamous "black ice."
