Actually, it is a 'faux-bridge' - built over a flood-proof cement culvert, our residential community's landmark. The original, not nearly as striking or well built, was destroyed in a 100-year-flood-event in 1990 thanks to builders destroying the watershed up stream.
In spring and autumn it is commonly used as a backdrop for senior, informal wedding, and family pictures; in the summer gnats and mosquitoes rule down by the water.
Pretty spot, pretty shots, Bob. I like the last best. First is quite nice but I wish there was just a tad more light on the roof, or a slight hint of light along the peak of the roof to really make the image sing.
Second is nice as well, but feels a bit tilted. Prob perspective distorition inevitable from the angle at which the image was photographed.
In the third, the light trails really add another dynamic element to the image.
Enjoy your New Year!
