my issue is the wireless trigger didn't work together with the flash i tried one umbrella just to test it but it disappoint me i kinda hate it, when i tried the wire and fixed it to the camera it works fine ..

the trigger is brand new and don't know how to use it

Stupid question (or maybe a few)

Did you have one pocket wizard on the camera, and one on the flash?

What settings were you using on the camera?

Hi KCorner

Here's a few links

Strobist on how to use http://strobist.blogspot.com/2006/03/lighting-101-pc-cords-and-pocket.html

More on how to use but more on the Multimax http://www.sportsshooter.com/news/1355

PW Instruction manual (I always read the instructions last if at all, haha) http://www.pocketwizard.com/products/images/PW-P-TR.pdf

If you are indeed using 2 PWs, check the sync leads to flash fittings. This is a common problem if you are using Canon speedlites, not connecting properly.

Here's a quick pic for someone else who wanted a set up shot. It will give you a rough idea on how to set PWs. A pocket wizard is required in the camera hot shoe (or pc-sync if appliacable) to fire the set. http://www.flickr.com/photos/29956235@N03/3109437183/

Cheers Gaz

Jeremy was talking about his questions, not yours. A very obvious fact. I am guessing you are not totally familiar with the English language if you could not figure that out.

Sorry, KCorner, I meant no offense. My reference to stupid question was to MY questions, not yours, as I was trying to ask a little bit more about your setup and how you were using the equipment in question.
