Alan,
What are you doing in the big city?
Nice shot showing me that things haven't changed all that much in 20 years- people milling about in the square, conversing or merely enjoying the simple pleasures of friends being together.
Gotta admit, though, I'd like to see the two poles straightened. Was the wind blowing really hard from left to right?

The poles bothered me also, I tried straightening one then the other, I put it down to the red wine

oh well

Security has definitely changed, airport style x-ray to get in to the square
