I like it, dude...I actually like both ads...I think either one blows away what's been in that mag recently...good show.

I like it...the only thing I would change is move your name and logo at the top up a bit as well as the image. Do away with the underline as it is distracting and "busy", remove the period at the end of your phone #, and don't caps the S,A,F,P in you web address, is it a team of you that shoots or just you? I ask as you have photographers and not photographer. If it's just you, I would write it as photographer, that way they know it's you, your images and your style.

anyway I like it and for me it's almost there...

I like the one strong image minus the little ones. Not sure if your revision is *that* image, though. I like the wine cellar one MUCH better.

The window shot is poppy and design-centric, but the wine cellar shot is natural, has more personality, energy, and fun.

Both shots show off that you have beautiful clients with good dresses with interesting venues... All hot buttons for hitting the higher-end market.

Here is the final. Daggum, you guys are rad. I wish that my arsenal of radness was half as full as some of the people who helped me out on this thread. Thanks to all.

Whoops. Sorry Ray I was working on adding more to that post and deleted before you replied.

Anyway, Scott, I think the new final version is awesome. It also implies that you are not big on posing, that you capture the beauty of a wedding naturally. I think of ads as a kind of pact.

Pls post the mag spread when you get your copy. We're all curious to see how it looks in print!

Couple of basics you probably already know but worth bringing them up. When people go through publication they are scanning. Your page has about 2-3 seconds to catch their attention so they will do a more in depth review. The thing that catches their attention is either a very appealing, graphic, photo, or phrase. You also want to make eye scan as easy as possible so they can determine what it is you do or are selling and if they are interested.

All that said your going to want a single photo and you have shown some nice ones here. I would change the top of your page to not only have your name with the catch phrases but what you do, for example, "Photography - blank lines- by Scott Andrew". If you are of a mind use "award winning photography". If you are just going for weddings the bottom is OK but if not you might want to say something like "Weddings and Events - Worldwide". Also put at least the city/or/general location in the bottom wording. Yes you want to be international but lots of people pick service providers by best talent within geographic location. Something like "San Francisco Bay Area" not to be to specific. The area code and phone number don't do it really. I am off my soap box now, hope I helped.blank lines
