I looked into it once. It seemed very complicated to set up a Wordpress. Is it? Can I keep my current address? http://blog.hofferphotography.com
Sorry, I know I should just google
It's really not too hard at all . . . I know you have background in web design, and if you know even just a decent amount of html you can set up / modify wordpress pretty easily. It also has a very easy-to-use interface when it comes to making posts / pages / etc. PM me if you have any specific questions!
I had no idea this post was here before but I had to ask fellow FMr the Hoff and he hooked it up with the info. Sergio just sorta convinced me to buy it and about 2 hours later i'm posting here my results:
1. I host with bludomain
2. It took me about 30 minutes to figure out the whole Wordpress 2.7 Installation deal through blu FTP
3. I installed Wordpress on my account and then bought the $179 template.
4. 2 Hours later I'm already customizing the wordpress stuff. It's amazing how this content management stuff works so smooth. It's EXACTLY what i've been looking for in a while!!
Now I just have to figure out how to add graphics on the sides
I'll have my blog up in about a week. Working hard on it from today on!
anyone here knows how to embed video clips to prophoto blog in full size? when i embed it from youtube its small but in one of the blog examples they show a full size video clip
Hey everyone, this is Jared, the creator of ProPhoto.
I'm going to try to check in here from time to time, so if anyone has any questions or comments or suggestions about the ProPhoto blog theme, let me know!
@ezera: what demo are you talking about so I can try to help you?
Is there a way that I can put a banner up at the top of the blog and leave it on top of all new posts until I want to remove it? From time to time I have announcements or contests that I like to make banners for.
Jared, I don't want it to be an actual post, as that can be confusing if a viewer sees it and doesn't bother to look below. I'd like it to be just a standard banner, with no post headers, tags or anything.

Tony, there is an option to use an image to separate the bio from the main body of the blog, you could use that to display a graphic banner, i suppose.
