Wow Alan now this is what I'm talking about! I believe out of your entire China series this shot shines the brightest for several reasons:

I love the contrast between the shadows and the light. It plays throughout the entire image, including from the bottom all the way up to the top. Also the way in which the wall curves makes me imagine myself walking along this lonely and long path to nowhere. Furthermore you captured some lovely light here that is very pleasing on the eye and renders a good tonality range in B/W.

Keep up the great work Alan!

Hi,

I like this view of the wall much better than the other (more standard wide shot).

This has dramatic lines and shadows and is simple in shapes and focus.

I like it.

I liked the previous shot(well, China 01) for its grandiose feel. I like this one for its intimate feel...
