each strained to their perfection

poor horses poor wire
burdened by man for reasons
selfish not to endure

odd the driven
odd the cause
odd the fallout
horses besotten
wire stretched too far

where to go fellows
burdened by birth
directed by fate to where
cause known not

where to go
where to go
only to drink more
as must do the horses
