Tony, I thought #3 was a flock of snowy owls Your hack came together wonderfully, that is impressive. Man you nailed that swan #6! I like the setting in #1, is that the head of a swan in the middle I do like the merganser, dang he looks fast!

cool shots tony. my pics of the series are #1 (just a nice composition and pleasing color tones, 3 (the density of birds in the shot make a great impact) and 8 (cute male house finch?).

Nice series Tony,

I especially like # 5, 6, 7 & 10 - - 10 is great how you stitched those two shots together.

Great work Tony

Thanks, Cedric. That was the first time I have seen gulls flying in this manner in a large flock. It reminded me of a small shorebird (maybe Sandpipers?) that fly like a group of swarming bees, and when they turn in one direction you can see all their white underbellies, and when they turn in another direction with their dark backs towards you they almost disappear.

Thanks Rob. The part that amazed me was that I did not make sure the exposures were the same, nor that they particularly lined up well.

Hey, it would be a rare occasion if I saw one snowy owl around here.

The swan was overexposed, but was able to recover most of it. Nice try on the swan head, but just part of the tree stump. Mergansers are fast and if I stand out to get them coming towards me, they just see me and swerve further away from me.
