I'm about to purchase one or two additional heads to complement my two Elinchrom 400BX.

I wonder if anyone of you have any experience of mixing different heads like the d-lites/FX/BX/BXri/RX etc. in a studio.

Do all the different models within the Elinchrom range give you the same color temp or do they vary?

I coild of course get additional 400BXs but I'm interested in the new BXRis.

Kenneth, you won't have a problem with the BXRi strobes. All Elinchrom strobes are so close to each other in colour temp. The only exception are the D-Lites, and even they are only about 200 degrees warmer. Not a big deal!
