Matt Graves Offline Upload & Sell: Off p.1 #5 · Bethany and Doug - 11/08/08 Walter and okafoja, I am pretty sure any perceived softness is due to the way I re-size for the web. I am not the best at doing that. I went back and checked the original RAW files and they look sharp to me. The first one I shot at 1.2 so it is a bit soft though. Andrew Welsh Offline Dedicated FM Upload & Sell: On p.1 #10 · Bethany and Doug - 11/08/08 +1 for ring shot being awesome. They look OOF to me too... to be honest, they look like they're backfocused. If you look at the ground in the first shot, you can see the pavement behind the groom is really sharp. Also, the shot with them in the aisle, the chair back behind the couple is sharp. Either a lens or body calibration issue. Since you have the 1Ds3, looks like you're in need of a focus adjustment with that lens (50L? known to have backfocus issues at 4-10 feet) Dec 04, 2008 at 08:09 PM
