Shot a local wedding here in Phoenix three weeks ago. It was the last of the fall season for me. Now taking a bit of a break before the spring weddings. Let me know what you think of these.
Some of these looked "soft" to me. 1 &2. Might have been something creative that is over my head . The ring shot might be the best I have seen, awesome idea.
Walter and okafoja, I am pretty sure any perceived softness is due to the way I re-size for the web. I am not the best at doing that. I went back and checked the original RAW files and they look sharp to me. The first one I shot at 1.2 so it is a bit soft though.
Jonneyfletch - The ring shot was with my 1DsMKII and Canon Macro100

Some are looking a tad fuzzy....the ring shot rocks!
Rhembein and Sam - Thanks both. I really liked the ring shot. I took another one that i really liked too, but will wait for another wedding to try the other idea out again.
They look OOF to me too... to be honest, they look like they're backfocused. If you look at the ground in the first shot, you can see the pavement behind the groom is really sharp. Also, the shot with them in the aisle, the chair back behind the couple is sharp.
Either a lens or body calibration issue. Since you have the 1Ds3, looks like you're in need of a focus adjustment with that lens (50L? known to have backfocus issues at 4-10 feet)
