Has anyone ever done these? my friend wants to do them in flash and make a pic of a room. he came across this. I think its an attachment to the lens, like a half dome mirror. anyway, does anyone have any info I can forward to him. they are going to be small sized pics, no more than 800pixels (Height)

There are a couple of ways of doing this that come to mind,
You can use a nodal turret to mount your camera at the Nodal point of the lens and then you shoot the 360 Pano and lace this together and render as a Quicktime or Flash Movie.

You could employ a specialist camera that captures a 360 Deg image while it rotates on a base robotically but I've not had anything to do with these.

I like the second one and it is also much cheaper than the first one. Something like this could become a profit making item for shooting panos for local real estate agencies. With it you could provide a service that most realtors could not provide for themselves with their own cameras.

I agree, has anyone ever used them ( lens attachments)? or the software associated with them
