It's a beautiful scene, nicely captured. The background is nicely blurred with nothing competing with the subject, except the bib which you explained, and anyway that doesn't detract for me - it's a 'natural' part of such a scene.
It appears that your focal point is around the mouth and shoulder area. Slightly more depth of focus would have kept the eyes sharp too. Just my 2c!

Nice shot on the whole, definitely a keeper.
I agree. A nice shot that could be improved with more DOF.
I "envisioned" both the head and the hand in the picture. But...like I said...I did not crop it. Since the image posted was too large for me to see on screen at one view (without scrolling) I can not tell.
Hmmm...I think showing more of the body/pillow AND the hand will look better....more like "sleeping" infant rather than "head."
