I think the last image is most effective at showing the dragon.
It also shows her figure well for a seated pose.
It also has nice "eye expression," better control of the hair in the image, and better use of the props.
Image #2 in contrast, has a distracting palm branch covering part of the figure/model, her bum is slightly flattened (and it is a key feature of her figure in all of these shots), and it seems a little "too close" or "tight."
I hope these comments will help you.

She obviously liked the idea of getting tattooed with a dragon, but none of your shots really show it off very well. In all of them its partially hidden by the arm or hair. So if you are going to shoot a painted lady, at least do the artwork justice
The second observation is a technical one. It's a matter of optics. The focal plane for a simple lens is curved and flattening to be in focus on the corners when sharply focused in the center (i.e. removing the astigmatism) requires corrective bending of the light. Wide angle lens have anastigmatic correction elements which are responsible for the stretching effect seen in on the long dimension of WA shots. That's what is distorting her head and buttocks in your vertical shots taken close up with the WA. The astigmatism in longer lenses falls well outside the area of the sensor. So to eliminate that big head / big butt distortion shoot from further way with a longer lens.

Steady, you missed adding: the space behind her should be in front of her.

Mike: I wish I could be here to photograph all the wrinkled old ladies with tatoos who will be here many years from now. To CPIJ: The tatoos clash with the bathing suit. This model should be photographed nude or with a very simple solid color bikini.

somehow I have this future vision of all these wrinkly old ladies in a rest home with distorted sagging tattoos.....ok back on topic
One reason I have never been inked - cool in your twenties, not in your 60's.
The girl in this series is stunning, however, I think there are too many distractions from her beauty, her tatoo, her surroundings, and her swim suit - they all take away from each other.
That is an outstanding tatoo, and I would probably choose to shoot her in a more background-neutral setting w/o the swim-suit, but positioned so that she is covering any "adult content" and also to emphasize the tatty.
Normally that suggestion would apply. I don't think it does here because the "backside" of the figure is the obvious "focal point" of the image and because her eyes are looking "back" rather than "forward." So, she looks "back" to the image side that has more space.
I imagine the "bum" is getting a lot of attention from any observer. So, crop the image to the waist (just temporarily) and you will see that her eyes go to the 'space" behind the figure....and that looks best for me...and that makes a nice composition.

Sorry, but the girl has totally ruined her look for me with all the tattoos.
Hi Jay! Thanks for taking the time to view and comment. I sincerely just loved your reaction to it... it just seems like you looked at the tattoo and ran away.
When they presented me with this model for this particular work, I suspected I'd get some shocking wooos and that made it very interesting to me..., but didn't think it would come up here as an issue at the very first comment!! Appreciate your sincerity.

Thank you Steady for taking the time to visit and recommend my website as well as the comments here. I will try to post some more from now on. It is really nice to get all the CCs.
to me, this girl isn't suited to be a model. Or perhaps not a fashion model. Her physique (though i love it personally) doesn't really fit the bill. #1, her rear is toooo big (which i LOVE). #2 her tattoo's are way too distracting.
In those pictures, we're actually looking at 3 things. #1, her beautiful face. #2, her distracting tattoos. #3, her big rear end! Though they might be considered "the complete package" they don't seem to compliment each other on this photo shoot.
I seriously doubt that we should be limiting our zest for life when we are young, vital, and beautiful because we want to be prepared to look good when we are in a nursing home!

Hi.
I think I understand your POV. But I offer a different POV.
I do think this model is a good model for the type of images that the photographer provides to the "Brazilian Surfer Magazine Market."
The body type is very appropriate for the Brazilian beaches.
The tattoos are obviously "popular" in the "culture" of the surfer world
Her "bum" is a key feature of the Brazilian Beach Beauty concept or "archetype."
That's true steady hand, very true. Probably suits a different type of "modeling" culture. Don't get me wrong, I would love to come home to a girl like her every day! You just wont see her in victoria secrets catalog (probably primarily the type of girls i shoot -- at a way amateur level).
Maybe I should get into this beach thing, and get experience in that field!
i really like the placement of the model and the emotion that comes out of shot #1.
for shot #2, i'm a bit disoriented looking at the slanted horizontal lines. it just feels wrong to me, like she might fall over or something. the brown plant in front of her is also just not that appealing.
for shot #3, i would have preferred this to be a landscape shot, with lots of negative space to frame left. its just the way she's leaning in that direction that lends itself well to overall composition.
