Hi, Just order a 5D Mark 2 body in Sydney @ AUD3750 which at today's rate = USD2437.50.
That includes 10% GST (Goods & services tax) so if you subtract that as I'm using for business,
the net price is USD2215.90. Not too bad a deal for this camera!

When the dollar was 85c dealers were saying $3999AUD - so how do they offer $3750 when the dollar is 65c?.
PRA In Perth were offering the 5D2 for $3750 Body only when I ordered mine a few weeks ago. It was meant to arrive yesterday, But apparently Canon Australia still haven't got the 5D2's in yet from what I've heard. The first 5D2's are now expected sometime next week.
My dealer had been expecting some stock to arrive this week, And they did get 2 body only's in today.
I changed my order to the Kit last week though, So I'm waiting on the kit, They told me earlier this week that I will definitely be getting mine once the kits arrive. I'm hoping it will arrive sometime next week.
Another batch is in the Customs/Bonds store in Sydney now, awaiting clearance. They will be shipped and distributed next week. Deliveries will arrive every 5 days from Japan.
Two shops in Perth have at least 180 on order and have only received 2 each.
One of these has 27 confirmed deposits and the other refuses to take any more.
Drove 268 km to get it. Got mine under 3800.
