How sensitive/accurate are the outer focus points of the 1ds3 in all situations compared to the center point?
About the MLU, can you lock up the mirror while shooting 7 successive bracketed shots for HDR?

They are cross points all offer extra precision with f/2.8 and faster lenses. Basically the 19 outer cross points are suppose to be equal to the center af point. I have bracketed seven shots with zero problems.
