Took these this evening... any critique would be appreciated. These were taken with my D90 and 85mm f1.8.

I'm guessing the shoreline is a tad uneven, but it feels rather strange as it sets the horizon line a strange....
Lovely colors - I like # 2 & 4, but what's that black "thing" in the right corner of the photo?
Lil - - who really should go back to what she needs to do - Ah well......

Yes the shoreline is crazy uneven. I guess it would make more sense to correct it in photoshop.
lol didnt pay that black "thing" much attention before but its part of a tree coming up out of the water.

Nice shots red. As lil noted, you need to keep your camera level, or fix it in post. Also, a little fill flash might have helped as the bg is brighter than the subject. Flash would help bring out the gulls colors - they look a little gray now.
