I am too getting into the studio shots, so I will let someone with more experience critique your lighting, but I would say some sharpening would do the shot some justice. Whether you accomplish that with post, or not shooting quite as wide open, I think it would add more to the photo since the subject is very close.
[edit] Now that you have resized it, it looks better. I dont know whether thats because you have adjusted the sharpening, or if the resize makes it look less noticeable...
