Danger! All of images to follow are in dreaded IR. I recently returned from a trip to the big island. We stayed on the Kona coast. While the time was relaxing, and the temps about 40 degrees warmer than the PNW, the photo ops were dictated by our hosts. So... no sunrises or sunsets at the exotic locales. I did shoot some color, and hope to get a few interesting shots to share. Meanwhile, if you are not IR fans, the look is HDRish and contrasty. These were shot as a reaction to crappy light. After all, what sane individual would resort to such absurd photo techniques? Comments welcome.
Akaka Falls. 420 feet high.

Really bizarre looking trees

And some palm trees outside our dwelling on a windy morning. I know, life is tough, but I suffered the heat and humidity
