Such a skinny little neck, and such a big fish! It never ceases to amaze me how different birds can eat something larger than you would reasonably expect to be the limit of their swallowing capabilities. Great captures of a great opportunity.

I'm also amazed that it can eat such a big fish whole. And given the way they usually flop around for so long when I go fishing, I can imagine he's going to have a bit of indigestion for a while.

Ira, such a great sequence! That was a nice bass that went down the hatch. Looks like the difficult thing is how to get it off the beak once speared and not loose it

I love the toss and swallow shot, great concentration on your part and these look very good to me!
