Off to the marsh to stand out in the cold ( low 20's with windchill ) and hope for a passing raptor. One hour is all I endured, but I had the regular RTH hunting nearby as well as a, surprise from behind, harrier flyby. The marsh is frozen now, so the eagles should be arriving this way anyday now.

#5 the perch is a measuring post to help track water levels when flooding and draining the marsh from the Wallkill River. It's one of the only perches in the middle of the marsh. A fav for green herons and kingfishers.

You always have some great stuff to see. I like the hightlighting on #3 really a cool hanger. You just keep enjoying it for me budddy!

Thanks Karl, it's been cold lately, but the raptor activity has been pretty consistent.
