p.1 #1 · High Key Lighting Test

Been playing around with high key lighting a bit to get the technique down pat only using 2 lights. Everything I've seen uses 2 lights to burn the background while a third to light the subject, but my 3rd light is on hold for right now.

This is pretty much straight out of camera (converted RAW). Very slight contrast and sharpening boost. Did I hit the exposure right? Comments appreciated.

Looks like a good start to me, but I'd like to know what's the setup?

Thanks,
Alan

Thanks for all the comments. Glad to share. Here is a picture of the setup and another shot. She was getting ill as a hornet with the tree, so we had to use the playset for a better expression.

Setup: AB800 set for f/8.0 on white background. White background with dry erase board for flooring (not as reflective as tileboard, but only thing I could find). Second AB800 camera right 45 deg from subject set for f/4.5 (making background 1 2/3 stops brighter).

Only decent shot with tree (SOOC with absolutely no adjustments)
