I do like the light and negative space in the second shot. Nicely cropped.

The second one works particularly well: the composition, the light, the refrained and almost chalky color.

Barry, those are limestone cliff's arent they? I like the second version. and the light falling on the cliff side.

Actually, Ashish, I believe the Cliffs of Dover are chalk, prominent in much of southern England.
