Thanks Lady and Gents,
I was in the parking lot at the time, having just driven to the grove.
The window of opportunity was fleeting, so I composed only in the horizontal format (24mm with an old 35 film camera) to capture as much of the sun's rays as I could; they didn't drop down much farther than shown.
