If you have to ask, chances are they aren't. Rated at 50 feet, probably at a lake. But as long as you've got a good WA so you're always close to your model/lights, go for it!

I guess they are fine if you don't mind wasting $10. In my experience, the cheap ones will simply break and fall apart.
But $10 is the cheapest I've found.
