Headshots Pro Gear Rental company have a clearance sale of used gear on Nov.21/22 2008, first come first served basis.
A few items I have noticed are: 300 f/2.8 IS, 400 f/2.8, 500 f/4.5, 1DsMkII, 14L, 24-70L, etc. The prices are rather low, however, we are talking about rental gear here.
Sold as is, no exchange, no refund, However, you can purchase their warranty plan for extra money.
If you know your gear real good or you are lucky, you might get a sweet deal like the 500 f/4.5L for $1,999 CAN. Caveat emptor, though.

Well, I've just proven to myself that the round trip flight negates the deal on the 500 and the exchange rate.
So if I understand anything about finance at all, I'll have to buy multiple lenses in order to decrease my costs on the flight. If I buy enough, the flight will eventually be free. Wall Street logic works for me!
Some items have apparently got into Henry's used lenses/cameras site inadvertently. Look for the items which do not indicate any store that carries them. Those prices may not be accurate though.....I couldn't find much info on that or a positive confirmation.
