p.1 #1 · Large prints (30"+)

I use WHCC for my fine art prints. However, they I just tried to send a 60"x40" print to them and was informed they do not print larger than 30" on the short side.

Who do you use for your larger fine art prints?

Thanks

They won't print that big on any paper? I use west coast imaging, and think they're fantastic. I generally print on their supergloss paper, which they can't print wider than 30", only because that's the biggest roll they have. They'll print as wide as the roll goes.

Most of the "big" lab machines are limited to 30" wide.
A wide format printer is the best economical option, and some labs do have them and print on various media.

Best bet is to find a "buddy" with a wide format printer that can help you out!

I do some printing for others and artists---up to 44" wide on an Epson 9800. Gotta be somebody with a big printer in your neck of the woods!

I just order 2 48" X 96" prints mounted from www.giantphotos.com. Reasonable and I've seen their work.

Do a Google search for a lab that has a Chromira 50" printer.

And don't trust ANY company that doesn't list their prices! Giant Photos listed above looks pretty wonky to me. Warning Will Rogers, Warning!

How much did they print this for you. I could not see any pricelist on their site.
Thanks.

I don't know their prices because I did the pictures and orders for local high schools and they are paid for by sponsors. They are top quality and one of the coaches told me they are the best deal they can find for the sponsors. They really are good and look great on the gym walls. They have a very nice backing on them. Give them a call, their customer support is great. They put the sponsors logo and the photographers logo on the print. I never charge the high schools for doing the work, it's my gift to them. Ask to speak to Jeff and tell him Tommy Rouse from White House, Tn. referred you.

Lightjets are available in sizes up to 72" x 120" if the lab has the 72 in printer.
