p.1 #1 · Lets talk about flash cords for a second

Is there a part number for a Nikon duel off camera ttl capable cord?? Or is there a splitter block that I could bring two cords off of like the Nikon Sc-14 Ttl Cord?

I can find older speed lights pretty cheap and was thinking about getting some and a duel cord for macro stuff instead of a ring light.

I have right now a sb-600 and a sb-18. I was thinking about getting 2 sb-28's or possibly sb-16a's Or would I just be better of with another 600?

How would two 400's on a homemade bracket / cords work for macro??

Tia!!

Interesting question. I would think that you might run into some voltage issues. As for macros, just use a couple of SB600s in remote mode.

What are you shooting that you would need off camera TTL for?
It is usually pretty much only used for moving objects in varying lighting conditions.

well actually for macro i do typically shoot manual not ttl but i was just calling it a ttl cord instead of a sync cord , so i guess the cords don't need to be ttl but it would be nice to have something thats not crippled.

I can find cords like i am talking about for canons but not nikon

I typically use my sb-600 remotely I guess I will get another one at some point in time but I wanted to do two flashes on a bracket to free up a hand...

My SC 17 has ports for some type of 3 pin ttl cable.
