p.1 #1 · how many flashes?

How many flashes can an STE2 control? I know it can control channels A & B but does that mean 1 flash per channel?

at the moment I have a 580 and 550 and am thinking of getting an ste2 and another flash so that I can have a flash either side of the subject and 1 behind the subject

It will control as many flashes as you want to put in each channel.

just make sure you have line of sight when you set up your flashes, and you should be good with however many you set up

You will learn to use any reflective surface to enhance that IR beam to get through -glass, mirrors... aluminium foil..
Works quite ok indoors. Direct sunshine pretty much kills IR.
