1 & 2 - some type of salmon. The streams and rivers have thousands of dead salmon in them, while the remaining salmon have still to lay their eggs.
3 - Red-tailed Hawk. You can see from the vegetation why they are harder to get close to here than they are in open areas.
4 - This shot was really under-exposed, hence the radical NR.
5 - Trumpeter Swans resting during their migration.
6 - Sea Lion at mouth of river, looking for salmon.
7 - The sea lions like to thrash the salmon about and the gulls try to snag any flying pieces.
8 - The "lucky" salmon will have already spawned before getting munched.
9 - An old homestead on the estuary.
Stark images of natures cycles and recycling. Fav one of these is #6.
Very nice and clear one of the back yard visitor and lovely colors in the homestead one.

Most of this series screams PNW and I would imagine the eagles should be there in numbers soon, if not already, with all the dead salmon. I really enjoyed these Tony, thanks.
