p.1 #1 · First HDR set, Ohio River Valley

Took a trip to the Ohio River Valley (Hicks Dome, Elizabeth town, KY area) and took about 300 pictures today. I had my tripod, and the sun was harsh, so i thought I'd try to set up some HDR shots. All at 3 exposure, (-1.0.+2)

Thanks in advance, C&C welcome!
Here are the HDRs I took.

Agree with Sixty, very difficult to pick up the HDR. What software did you use

I guess what I'd like to say is that if I and others can't see the HDR effect.... you did a great job.

However, I would love to see a before and after of at least one of them just for giggles.

Yeah, what is the point? Don't look great to me.

Sorry... I don't see anything special about these. They're nice pics but like a few others said, "what's the point"

#1 - Too busy for good HDR. Can't really tell either, just looks like an over-sharpened image w/ a bit of saturation.
#2 - Same as #1
#3 - Ghosting from movement of people on the three exposures
#4 - Over exposed sky: not enough range covered by HDR (you need to expose for the extreme highlights and extreme shadows in your range of photos for HDR creation, to get full range of exposure. Typically, my HDR work is around 5-7 exposures.
#5 - Horizon is off.
#6 - Flag ghosting.
#7 - Horizon is off.
#8 - Horizon is off.
#9 - Horizon is off. Ghosting with people.
#10 - Horizon is off.
