Would this bag allow me to carry both my D300 and D700 as well as the 70-200 f/2.8, 24-70 f/2.8, 14-24 f/2.8, and SB900? Preferably with the 24-70 mounted to one body.

I've never owned any Nikon's in my life, you can totally get away with it. Depending on the size, I was able to fit a 17-40 and a 35-75 attached to a body into one compartment and the 70-200 alone on the right side. Check the 70-200's length, and make sure it's not bigger then ~8.3inches, or it won't fit straight down on it's own. I found if you mounted the 70-200 onto the body you can then lay it across, but not straight down.

If not, then you can probably stuff both lenses into the main area and just hold the body above. Here's a photos of my EOS3 in the top compartment

I found this bag in one of my local camera shops. It's a very well made and thought out bag, but it's too narrow to fit the Nikon 70-200 VR lens as mananetwork has shown with his Canon counterpart. The only way I can see to fit the Nikon 70-200 is to run it vertically down the bag, but it would end up wasting a great deal of space.

When I looked at the website, it shows that this bag comes in medium and small . . . I hope a large comes out in the near future and that it increases the width by 1 or 2 inches. Adding an inch in length wouldn't be bad either.
