Have a look at the Chinese ceiling tracks from DynaTran, an exact knock-off from the HiGlide. Sold by Amvona, at ebay often at an even lower price. DynaTran rail system

Go to BACKDROP OUTLET. They have a rail system on sale right now for around $600 +/-.
I think it has four scissors and of course the rails.
Looks like a pretty good deal.
Not BOGEN quality but if you have a limit on available funds.....

I have a Bogen Professional Light Rail system for studio lighting. I am closing my studio do to downsizing. It is Manfrotto/Bogen brand, excellent system! I have the 20' rails which when set up with its 5 rails gives you a total of 400 sq.ft. of floor coverage. It comes with three lifts or Pantograms. Every support has ball-bearings for a real smooth glide. Celing supports are include, this system is turn key, no additional parts to buy. I still have it set up in my old studio and I have pics to send to anyone interested. Asking $1200. Contact me, Angel at [email protected].

Drat! If I still lived in Tampa I'd be knocking on your door. Since I'm now north of Seattle, it'd be difficult.
Hopefully someone closer will contact you; it sounds like a good deal.
