I found this while researching info on some mysteriously jammed aperture blades (seller is claiming shipping damage) and thought some might find it usefull.
So the aperture lever that comes up into the rear cap had gotten stuck on the outside of the adjuster attached to the rear cap, and the blades WERE seized aswell (double whammy!) I managed to get the thing apart, fixed it, back together in about an hour. had to take it apart another 3 times to get the infinity focus calibrated properly. It was taking much less time each time I did it (so now I feel like a guy in a pit crew! just like a pro! lol).
This was the first time I had taken a lens apart, but it seems to have worked out ok. Now I gotta do it again so I can re-grease the focusing ring and give the whole thing a cleaning. Now that i know where mine is set up for infinity focus, it should be realively quick reassembaling afterwards.
Good job Lyshk0,
and good luck with the grease. I ended up with white lithium grease now. I have another 135 Sonnar in the queue which I've greased with Silicone grease, horrible (cause it's an Alu-Alu helical). Here is some additional info on the aperture housing. It is the same as on the Flektogon 35/2.4.
Now you can buy out all the stuck Sonnars and Fleks and get them going again :-)
