Problem: Aperture about 5.6 in Aperture Priority Mode causes Error 99 message - re-set (battery/power) does not help. Once in a great while it will be fine.
Question: Camera or potentially a lens issue? Has anyone had this issue with this combo? 10D, 20D, etc., were all fine with this same lens. I did clean contacts well - Tokina suggested I send the lens in to be checked, Canon just sent a silly disclaimer e-mail saying I should only buy their lenses...
