While this is a neat capture, I feel that your original entry is much stronger in regards to the specific assignment.
I would suggest taking your original back to photoshop and adjusting the levels and saturation of the background - separately from the subject. Right now the background is just too bright, and also the same color-tone as the rest of the image.
With just a few adjustments I think your entry will be a VERY strong one!!

I think the original is best for sure. The correction makes it more clear, however, personally, I like the closeness or the original. If you can mix the two, I think you would have a very strong, if not the strongest yet.
Hi Karen , the monkeys face just says vote for me the Rams horn is truer to the WA. I would go for the Rams head picture. Now if we get a WA for cute furry creatures you know where to go

I like the second shot the best very nice, the first is great also but I love the capture of the eyes in the second shot. The first one I've shot photo's of wild rams but never seen one with the sleepy eye look they are always on alert, this may because yours may be a Zoo Ram but nothing to take away from your picture it is very nice either way. Thanks for sharing.
