Hey Everyone,

I attended the SWB workshop in Zelienople, PA last week and had a ton of fun.

Lemme know what you think. Thanks for looking.

To me these are photos of a person in area with nice light but I don't feel any connection with the woman. Maybe it's just me, but I just don't feel drawn to the subject in any of them.

SAPierson, thank you.

europedreamer, fair enough. The style theme of the day was much more fashion based than a typical wedding shoot.

Thanks Scott. The workshop was definitely worthwhile. Very driven by composition, which is what I have been needing.

Thank you for your pics as well. Those three were actually a few of the more original ones that I took from the workshop that no one else took.

Nice. Cool use of wide angle. What wide angle lens did you use for these?

Ivo, I believe that every one of these was with the Canon 17-40 on my 5D.

STephanie, it was a blast, very different than my usual shooting style.

Thank you for your comments.

dang 6 just looks pretty tight. Looks like a fairy. i like 7 and the lighting on 8 just adds to the mood...

I was contemplating for the longest time if i wanted to sign up, but looking at the website, all the places where they shoot looks like it was taken in really nice places.
I don't really see the challenges in shooting a bridal in a great location. However, If it was done in a crappy place, with bad lighting and he can help someone "find" the picture then that will be totally different.

But good for you for shooting with him, I'd probably have a blast too in the workshop ...
