I think the right answer is for you to take it to a repair shop/center/whatever and have someone check it out. On your way, or before you do that (if you want other options):

I want to say that you are seeing your shutter, but the exif data for picture#1 has a 1/60s shuterspeed (should be long enough). You might try varying the shutter speed (1/10, 1/30, 1/120, 1/200, 1/500, 1/1000) and see what happens.

You might also put the flash into high speed sync mode - see if that makes a difference.

I bet your seeing your shutter - crank it down, and shoot till you see it disappear. I know Canon's sync at 250 or 500 so..

How does it behave with the internal flash?

A shutter problem would give a vertical blackness when shot horizontally.
I think your flash is hitting the front of your lens. I can't check EXIF at this computer, so I don't know what lens you are using.
