Hi, I dare to say that the technique produces an interesting effect and I like 80% of the image. But, that area on the right side of the picture is unsettling to me. It is for me unrecognizable while at the same time attracting my eye. Perhaps it is only a pillow. I guess it is the ambiguity of it. Funny, the amorphous left corner does not bother me. Maybe it is a color/contrast thing.
The bit that looks like a curl does not hurt my reaction to the picture.
I would like to see another attempt at the technique.

that was almost as complex as the photo........both interesting.
Hi. Thanks the for the additional posts. I think they confirm my suspicion. The ambiguous nature of the first photos overlay was the issue for me.
