I read somewhere that this lens will have a slightly different optical formula as compared to the ZF version. I can't wait to see some comparative tests between this lens and the 85mm 1.2 L II. I wonder if it will compare favorably, since the Canon lens incorporates an aspherical element and the 85mm Zeiss does not as far as I know?
