Nope, I'm not playing with your heads

Unless the guy from Henry's is playing with mine and in that case I will be playing with his tomorrow when I go pick it up

I'll try to get a chance to play with it but I'm pretty flat out with travel over the next couple of weeks. What do you think I can get for the old 24mm which is only about 8 months old?

That's a disappointment. I really liked the size/weight of the mk1.

bmstudios, bummer about the weather in Toronto today eh?
I almost took the 50L out for a walk this morning but said 'f it' cause its just nasty and grey

Take the 24 II out to the skate rink at city hall and get some nice low light shots .
If you see someone with a 5d2 and a 50L walking around come up and say hi!

Ya, it's kinda really grey/dull and overcast

Saturday looks nice tho

I think I'll be heading to Nathan's Phillip square on Sunday...I just canceled my 5DII pre- order when at Henry's picking up this lens...

Have you been over to the Toronto Brickworks lately? I was there back in the spring but haven't been back since. I think it would be a good excercise to get this new lens in there...

Here is a shot I got back in the springtime....

By golly, the new 24L looks almost identical in size/shape to the 35L.

Yes, very close PetKal. I don't have my 35mm with me at the moment but here it is in the line with a few other lenses I have.

Actually never been... but wow! Looks like a fun spot to shoot! My 14mm would have a feild day in there

Aside from Nathan Phillips square night stuff tonight, and maybe this weekend, I'm not going to be shooting much of anything until I get back from Argentina in late Jan.(fly out on Tues!!! woot!)
