I have an image I need to upload for the weekly contest.
My MAX is 640 pix and I keep getting a FYI that the image exceeds 350 kb. My other photo entered on a monthly contest is beyond 350kb,
What seems to be the problem? getting frustrated here.
640 max as the rule states is 886.9k, same as my monthly contest photo I entered. I tried for 3 days back and forth and it keeps telling my FYI exceeds 350kb. Then I take it down to that and it states it needs a size on the longest side of 640 and whatever.
Why does one size upload and another won't at the same size on this site? If I pay to upload it it won't, then....

When you save your web image, you have to set the jpeg compression. Usually for web presentation use JPG compressing to 7. I assure you it won't pass 400kb and your image will look great.
