p.1 #1 · dusk ambience

I took this picture in the hope of catching the atmosphere of the moment. The scene was from Reunion Island in Indian Ocean.

D300 14-24mm 2.8. Gratuated ND filter.

These are nice, I would fix the horizon on the third shot.

For me the size is a bit too small for comments.
1) Only suggestion is the bottom right rock that is slighly in should be cropped out.
2) Feels a bit tight on the right around the well
3) I presume you intended the tilt so that makes it more of an abstract - for me landscape with sky at 2/3 would be better even with the tilt.

Nice spot and shots. Scott

Stunning series, Oliver especially the 1st image. I am assuming you hand held the Grad against the 14- 24? Care to share your tips.

Great shots

Question - how did you put a ND filter on the 14-24?

Its an hand made with a PVC pipe (115mm) and a sort of foam rubber inside, and a 115mm lee holder. I can send you a photo if you like.

Wow! Not that's creative. I tried to hand hold a filter on the weekend with no success. Good for you!

hello,
here 're some pictures of the holder i made for the 24-70 mm 2.8. If filters are nearest the hood, there's no vignetting
